[06 May 2007|04:44pm] Today, it has been exactly a year since Ethan and I moved in together. Let's recap. May 6, 2006 was spent driving to Michigan. This was a long drive. Middle of May: I get a job at Victoria's Secret. I worked hard for this job, damn it, and it was the most dissapointing one I have ever held. I had a week of training, two weeks of working constantly, then several weeks of not working at all. June 22, 2006: I get a job at Preuss Pets, which hires me on as a freshwater specialist. Ethan and I got in a huge fight this day. July 4, 2006: Best Independence Day ever. We cuddled in a stretch of grass and watched the fireworks. The end of the month was Ethan's 25th birthday and his nieces were born. August, 2006: I did not return to Tennessee as scheduled. Instead, I take a semester off of college and work five days a week 10-4. September, 2006: Our one year anniversary on the 27th! We went to Red Lobster and had sex. October 2006: We decide it's time to move on to bigger and better things, and so we get a new apartment. :D! Soon after, we get our dog, Marius. December 2006: Tennessee visit before Christmas closely followed by a visit to Florida for New Years. Warmest New Years ever. January, 2007: Financial CRISIS. Trips last month were very detrimental, and so we had to borrow quite a sum of money.  *sigh* February, 2007: Insane amount of fighting. I almost got fed up and left: March 2007 was too fucking cold. I also got a rat! :D April 2007: My birthday! I got a plant. And now here we are. Everything's stable, we have a good sum of money...We're happy. Happy one-year-living-together anniversary to us. 1 dared to to compare

[06 May 2007|03:29pm] I spent all afternoon yesterday making this fucking layout, amongst other things. Ethan says he's never seen someone have so many computer crises in one day. Let's see... 1.) Internet stopped working completely for no reason (I think Ad-Aware did something to it?). Reinstalled Vista. 2.) Vista decided to make your Recycle Bin go away FOR NO REASON. I had many issues with it before I decided to Google it and, shocking, it told me how to fix it. Fix'd. 3.) Photoshop CS2 was being a pisser on installation. Fix'd after a huge fight with it. 4.) Corel Painter 9 had to be installed TWICE before it would work. >/ It works now. 5.) Bittorrent wouldn't download until I clicked it exactly 7 times. >O How annoying. compare
